No holiday specials this time around.

Howdy folks,

Finally finished all my Christmas shopping and everything is in the mail as of today. Of course I'm pretty much dead broke now, but at least all my bills are paid up for the month. Now I just have to start working the old credit card back down again! Gotta love the holidays!

Still working on some fan art I have planned, and just roughed a couple of fight pages. It's going to be a bit of an emotional ending for Jolly. He is near the breaking point now. And the worst is still to come.

I've been pretty happy with how I'm connecting some of the story points, but I am finding that I always seem to get my best ideas in the shower, or when I'm at work and don't have access to pen or paper.  Why does it always seem to work out like that? Still, I seem to do Ok for remembering them.

I decided not to do any holiday special pages this time, I have been worried about my buffer and that takes priority over anything extra that I'm planning.

My back is still bothering me some, especially when I first get up in the morning. I'm fine once I get moving, but man oh man, laying down for any length of time stiffens up my lower back something fierce! I'm  afraid to lift anything heavier than a couple of books, and I still haven't set up my new shelves or TV yet.  Funniest thing about that is how crazy it makes my friend Brian. He can't believe I have that kind of patience. Well, pain can be a show stopper if you can't lift anything!

Anyway, I got a chance to see the hobbit again, this time in 3D, but not the high frame rate one, just the regular one. I have to say that I didn't think the 3D added anything to the movie, other than adding a few bucks more to my movie ticket. All said and done, this is definitely a movie I will be getting on blu ray!

So that's what's going on in my neck of the woods. I hope everyone has a great weekend, and a safe holiday week. If the world doesn't end this week,  I will see you next update.
