Getting personal

Getting personal

Howdy folks.

This week I have been working on my 'character bible' fleshing out the characters that you will soon get to know. We are about half way through chapter two at this point, and Jolly still has one more big hurdle to overcome before he can work on escaping the cave.

Speaking hurdles, I have done some deep scripting and there is a scene that I really want to use, but it's taken from personal experience and for me it would be meaningful to share. I'm just not sure the other person involved would think so. I could try to disguise it a little, but too much and I would risk dulling the point I am trying to make.

Still, I am not out to hurt anyone's feelings, so I have to decide if it's worth exposing. I never thought I would have to deal with this in a cartoon setting, but then again, the world is a funny place.

On a lighter note, I have finished the character design for 'Peeps', a parascopic (Scout) demon. I was playing around with the idea of a creature with multiple personalities inhabiting the same body and thought what if it were three souls all jammed into this big monstrous body with multiple arms, eyes, mouths but only one nose and one set of ears?

Honestly, it's probably the funniest character I've done so far. By page 26 you guys will get to meet him in full living color! Plus I have decided on handing out cookies of mass destruction as well.

Man, the story is going to get pretty wild here in a few weeks. I can't wait for you guys to see what I've done!

On that note, I bid you all a fine fun week, and I will see you next update.
