Happy Birthday goes out to Brian a.k.a Orila the bard, or Rogue (depending on what game he is playing), and to the mighty Tony B. (who probably still hasn't watched True Romance...) Happy Birthday guys =D

Phoenix Comicon is this weekend! Im just attending this year, maybe next year I will have a table or something. Need to see how much interest there is in the strip over the next 6 months or so, before I really look into going to print.

As of next month, I will be celebrating my 2 anniversary doing the comic. I plan on showing off some new concept covers for chapters still ahead through out the month of July. =)

Anyway, for this weeks page:

Baba O'Riley is my favorite WHO song. But picking just one was no easy thing.

Dwarves are great in tunnels and in ruins, but in the woods...not so much.

If you're browsing around any of the comic sites he is on, give the dwarf a friendly vote =)

The artwork in this comic keeps improving. I really like how you established the settings in all these panels. Very colorful and detailed.

Thanks Chris, trying to squeeze as much effort as I can for each page.

Heheh, Jolly, not really as smart as he thinks he is.

This was a pretty solid page, and I like it simple it turned out.

Jolly is a pretty good sport most of the time, but when he gets caught doing something clearly stupid, he tends to get more mad at himself, than anyone else.

Really great work on the scenery!

Thank you =)

I really do like drawing backgrounds, but back in my 2nd chapter (nearly all of which took place in a cave) I sort of eased back.

Now I get a chance to really give some character to the world, I'm just a little unsure how to do it.

I did like how this one turned out though.

Real nice colors on those establishing shots, the effort really shows through. Is tinker using a mouth harp? That seems like it would be the perfect instrument for him. And the fact he's playing along leads me to believe Jolly is a good singer!

Thanks, Im working on beefing up my backgrounds a little.

Yes, Tinker is playing a Jaw Harp (or Mouth Harp, or Jews Harp) I remember it from way back in the 6th grade when one of the kids in my class brought one for show and tell.

We all thought it was the coolest integument ever. Better than trying to mouth fart in your hand, even.

I'm not going to kid you here, even as an 11 year old, I was easily entertained.

Actually, Jolly can sing pretty well. Ive always thought his singing voice would sound like a young Roger Daltrey.

Nok can belt out the deep Jim Morrison vocals, while Stonearm, has a voice like Roger Waters.

AND he's a good singer too. Sigh.
Something tells me Tinker isn't playing a joke Jolly!

Tinker is just leading the way, its not his fault Jolly cant keep up!

Love the transition from peaceful pastoral to dark creepy woods. Nice!
