I read and watch a lot of history, specifically the way an organization rises to power. Be it an industry, religion, or government. The thing they all have in common is...well, us.

Sad to say, but it is true, power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely.

The Church of Dawn was once a very loving and moral pillar among human society. They helped the poor, defended the weak, and raised up whole communities.

It shouldn't be hard to guess what happened when the more ambitious, and morally flexible snaked their way into its leadership.

And if you're browsing around any of the comic sites he is on, give the dwarf a friendly vote =)

At least the security system wants to talk first.

They spared no expense when it came to security!

Hmm sounds like a movie I saw once...

I really like the creepy trees!

Heh, there are about 5 different movies linked into this idea =P

Thanks, this is my first attempt at spooky woods.

This is the kind of place Freddy Kruger would like for a summer home!

Makers zipper! Man and Elf I like the way you curse! Haha. As long as I'm right and that is cursing? Great page. Always loved talking trees. A fondness in my childhood...

Maybe not exactly hardcore swear phrases, but you get the general idea.

My fondness for creepy trees knows no bounds too =)

I love the red smokey swamp and ruins, and the tree creatures are great.

Thanks, I like red in the water. I think it gives it a more rusted and abandoned look.

The trees were just plain fun to draw.

An organized religion turns into a guild for thieves, sounds familiar! There probably IS lots of treasure in there, Jolly. If nothing else you might find a giant gold hat and gold robes.

Watch out for the big hats, they may look old and frail, but they have deep pockets and plenty of hired muscle!

Oh man...! The big guy's got a visitor! Great comic! I subbed.

Thank you for checking it out, and for the sub!

Oh yeah, there is definitely more going on in these ruins than even the bearded one expects.
