I hope everyone has recovered from that nice 4th of July weekend!

Happy Birthday goes out to my brother Patrick!

This weekend marks the 2nd year I have been tormenting Jolly with this comic!

I tried something with movement that I had seen done in other comics like Spider-Man, and The Flash, using a sort of shadow image to show where the character started, and fleshing out the final position for that panel.

Coming up, I have two more characters to introduce to the story. The first is the scruffy looking beastly guy you see leaping out of the window, and the next will be a snarky little fey I used to torment my players with, way back in the old days.

Stick around and see how all of that works out for poor Jolly!

If you're browsing around any of the comic sites he is on, give the dwarf a friendly vote =)

Thank you :)

I admit I did model the eye brows, and eyes after the Adam West costume. Then I took a few liberties with the cape, ears, and nose....

Cool update. I guess tinker has the ability to morph into different shapes?
I really like what you did in the last panel. Especially the pose of that creature, and how his hind claws are extended. He has an interesting design.

Well actually Tinker doesn't know any polymorph, or transformation magic. Gremlins, by nature, do have a nack for going undetected by the casual observer, which is very useful most of the time.

Tinker took this cape and cowl out of his cubby (we got a small peek of what he keeps in there, back on page 7 in this chapter), because he thought it would be funny, and because he is silly like that.

The effect came out well! Nice homage to Bats too. Also congrats on the 2 year anniversary, here's to many more!

Thank you :)

Coming back from comicon last month left a definite 'Cosplay' influence on my brain, so of course it wound up in the comic =P

While this story does have a final act, Ive got quite a ways to go still. I expect to be tormenting the bearded one for at least a few more years.

*Whew!* Finally got all caught up on the archive! The downside of course is that now I have to wait for the new pages like everyone else... :)

Big flowing capes aren't really that good for climbing trees in a forest! By the way, the white silhouette in the last panel reminds me of Two-Edge from Elfquest all those years ago.

I agree, capes are probably more of a hazard than a help when doing almost anything, but they kinda look cool on a super hero,or villain.

I picked up my first copy of Elfquest back in 1982. It was magazine sized and in black and white. It was my favorite comic story for a long time. I know Wendy Pini has influenced me in my art, so Im not surprised if it shows up from time to time.

Same here. Elfquest was literally the first non-superhero comic I ever read. I couldn't tell you when exactly it was, but the original story wasn't done yet when I started reading.

I think she's out of your league, creepy troll type guy! (although if you take her, that still leaves Jolly for me ;) )

Well, I expect you might expect things will go as expected. Or maybe not.
