Ok, for this page I took a lesson from Terry Moore (Strangers in Paradise, Rachael Rising). He did this layout and it was so simple and yet spoke all kinds of depth. I had to try it out.

The only thing I second guessed, was leaving in all the white. I worried that adding in any background images/colors would be distracting. So here is a case where I think less is more.

If you're browsing around any of the comic sites he is on, give the dwarf a friendly vote =)

I haven't read any of Terry Moore's work but this page layout works well for me. Nice way to do the transformation.

If you get a chance, Rachel Rising is really good. Its like a horror movie with a real story to it.

Terry Moore has become my favorite creator over the last year. And for all the best reasons.

I think it was a good choice to not have any background here, it would have clashed with the format. Good way of getting lots of dialogue in though.

Thanks =)

I think it worked out. Plus I did have some story to push here that would be hard to show without rambling off the main road.

Very nicely done * claps * I think you nailed it on this page :D these are often very hard to do :D

Thank you =)

Both of these characters are important to the story, and I saw this as a good way to slip in a little of their past, without having to pull us out of the main story too abruptly.

This is great! The transformation in Rege's speech is subtle, but parallel's nicely with his physical transformation. :D

This curse they are under is going to be tough to break. As it should be.

I like how the animal faces look a lot like their human counterparts.

That was a little tricky, as I am naturally long winded. I chopped at that bit of dialog until I felt everything that needed to be said was there, and not much else.

Good job at fitting in a long story to a short page. If only we had alll the space in the world...yep, we would use it!

Im really glad I was able to edit it down and keep it clear what was going on with these two.

I get so long winded, I put myself to sleep sometimes.
