As you may have guessed, there was a revolt in Fairie many years ago. The last thing the Elf queen expected was a mass exodus of the wee folk. She was NOT happy about it. Not at all.

If you're browsing around any of the comic sites he is on, give the dwarf a friendly vote =)

They sure arent.

Dragons spent most of their time sleeping, but when they awaken, there is no place you can hide.

This was the edge of the elvish realm, and they put up a fight when the dragons went on the rampage.

This is how that turned out for the elves.

Some of the trees are still smoldering, even years after the devastation. But a lot of whats in the air is ash and debris that keeps getting kicked up by wind and elements.

Nothing will grow here, not without some serious magical healing.

Concentrated Dragon breath is nasty like that.

nice work.
Love the interaction.
Great view on last panel.

Ashentrae?... Playing with words or it's just my imagination lol

Oh its intentional. I have this uncontrollable urge to play with words.

My players often groan at the horrible puns I inflict upon them =P

A real scorched earth policy they have.

"When Dragons Attack!"

The show I would pay good gold to watch!

Nice work on the burnt forest in the last panel; that's a lot of burnt stumps to draw!

This my favorite panel of the page. I was able to get away with, and actually cash in on my inability to draw a straight line! =P

Had to look that up. Been a long while since I read any Dragonlance.

But yeah, the elven homes are mostly in ruins now.
