Hello all, and welcome back!

First off, you may have noticed that I have taken down all the filler for the past few months. At some point most, if not all of the 'In the Dungeon' cartoons will get added in as a bonus if and when I do a print book.

Also I didn't want readers to have a huge pile of unrelated jokes getting in the way of the new chapter.

So this month marks my third year of posting comics, and after taking a break from the main story and just drawing fun game jokes, fan art, and some sketches, I have returned to Jolly with the new chapter in his crazy world titled 'Small lives'.

We start up with a little flashback scene, 11 years ago. Just before the Dwarves ventured to help the elves shut down the Dark Mage.

This chapter will be a little more serious that the last few, as the dangers of the world start to sink into Jollys thick skull.

There are a lot of things coming up, including a meeting with an outcast clan of Dwarves, the Artifact that you have only seen in the odd cameo, and more.

So I hope you stick around and see what happens next!

On the art side of things...

The drab colors are an attempt to set a 'flash-back' feeling, though I think I might be able to better as I become more familiar with Manga Studio.

I did this page nearly start to finish in Manga Studio 5 ex. A program that I'm still getting to know the ins and outs of. (there is a lot to learn, and its been a bit challenging at times).

The only thing I had to go back to Photoshop for was to resize the page for web publishing. I finally figured out how to do it in MS, so I will be able to do that going forward.

As usual, I'll be experimenting a lot, so expect some pages might be better than others. My art is still sort of hit and miss, but it's all in the name of fun, so here you go wind, take my caution!

As I mentioned before, the layouts are a little different. The pages are smaller which might allow me a chance to get up to two updates a week. That's my goal. Here is hoping I get there soon.

See you guys next week!

I did a bunch of filler cartoons and fan art while I was on break. Needed to recharge my batteries and relax for a while.
