Hello everyone,

The state of things is finally sinking in, and Jolly (who took his faith lightly to begin with) is feeling his own heart begin to harden against his peoples beliefs.

I hope everyone had a great weekend!

Spending years away from home can really open your eyes and be quite a shock when you return, even in real life. Of course, Jolly has to deal with the bodies...

Very good work here.

Thanks =)

I cant imagine a worse homecoming.

Ive read many stories of whole villages seeking shelter during times of bloody conflict in their places of worship, Except in rare instances, a church or temple offers meager sanctuary. But that's our world and our reality.

For Jolly, the gods are much more active, and known for looking out for their followers. To see his people seemingly abandoned and left to die...this is going to leave a scar on his whole belief system.

So aren't there other Dwarf settlements if I recall correctly? Or, is Jolly one of the last of his kind!?!
Also, I know what it is like to be angry with your God.

Jolly doesnt know who or even how many of his folk escaped. Other than one exiled clan, Hardknock was the only Dwarven Hall. This is why he needs to speak with Nottie.

Time to find Nottie if she's alive, and if she doesn't tear him to little hairy bits.

Jolly is having a rough time alright, and it probably isnt going to get any easier for him. At least not here and now.

Someone had a picnic in the park once. The ants were grateful to these gods for the bountyful food that suddenly appeared. Then one of the gods stepped on them. Why they asked, these are not gods but demons!
Don't question what is so far beyond your understanding, puny (ant) mortal!
Free theology lesson for today :D
