Hello everyone,

The headless are back. These creatures are feared even among the dark corners of Fairie.

The one good thing was the accord that prevented them from crossing their side of the river (the Unseelie realms) over to the Seelie lands.

Not even that agreement is holding them in check.

This will have long term consequences, but nothing is going to stop these vengeful spirits from getting what they came for today.

I hope everyone has a great week, and I will see you guys next time!

Only Ichabod Crane can stop the headless ones!
Seriously though, I never thought of having a class of these guys roaming around as evil spirits. I bet they would be fearsome opponents!
I wonder how the faerie folk will factor into the story line here.

I used to play a lot of novelty decks back when I was seriously into Magic the Gathering.

I liked my undead deck (which featured all manner of horrors), I had a signed Headless Horseman (not a great card unless my Zombie Master got into play) card I played with.

Always loved the legend behind him, and wrote my own version of vengeful spirits controlled by a Witch Queen for my D&D campaign.

I brought them into the comic story and love that I get to use them to good effect here.

As for long term effect, these Headless have broken a long standing treaty, which could very easily lead to another war in Fairie.

Nice colors. I used to nightmares of the headless horseman (the one from the Disney short) when I was a kid.

Thanks =)

When I was little, my bad dreams came from watching old Boris Karlof Mummy movies, and the original Night of the Living Dead...I was waaaaay to young for those.

Oh, hey, Ichabod went in that direction! Have a good day!

Nice page as usual, Jolly!

With the kind of day these pixies are having, it would Fraizer Crane that showed up for the rescue instead of Ichabod...
