Draginbeard
I hope everyone (who celebrates it) survived Thanksgiving dinner!

Many dragons are vain about their appearance, Leerpain is no exception. In fact he might be considered a little bit neurotic about it.

Do dragons really discuss the nutritional content of what they're eating? Mine do.

The sparkly trail is the last of the magical energy from the hammer. It will eventually bleed off, and yes, Leerpains talon will grow back to its former glory - eventually.

I hear politicians and lawyers also give some bad indigestion! (I feel bad ror that t-rex in jurassic park, he didn't know what he was eating!) Leer pain should go on the jenny craig diet, i hear shes full of all kinds of nutrients! And taste good too!
(I love all this dragon diet talk!)

LOL I have an angry spot in my heart for scummy, lying Politicians. I wont spend a lot of time talking politics, but I couldn't resist a little lashing out in a couple of up coming strips. (this one included)

I really did wonder what dragons prefer to eat. You would think it would be cows and Oxen, and big meaty animals. But in a lot of stories they always seemed to go for maidens and steel clad knights. Neither of which sound very filling....

Maybe so, but who's going to complain about the chance to eat a lot of maidens? :D I'd live on chocolate-covered cherries as long as I could, personally...

LOL

Well, I reckon the maidens aren't too keen on the whole 'Dragon-chow' business. Which leads us to the Knights trying to do battle with the beasts.

All of this usually leads to a well-fed dragon in the end.

Its true! Dragons seem to like to be repected, its not about the nutriousness to them, but more about bragging rights. " Check it fellas, i could have eaten a cow, but i lost my left leg and three fingers just to eat this stupid maiden and obnoxious knight! Even though i lost most of my teeth bitting through his armour...."
Oh dragons, im too lazy to understand your ways!

How often do they eat? They'd drain a whole region in a short time at this rate!
Draginbeard 23rd Nov 2012, 8:50 AM edit delete reply
Draginbeard
The Dragons I have here don't actually 'need' to eat. They are nourished in other ways. (we will see some of this later in the story) They do, however enjoy the taste of flesh and blood. Its like candy to them.

edit - but you are right, they did drain several regions, ripping down civilization back to a dark age. More on that as the story continues.

Dragons are violent creatures by nature and feel a sense of satisfaction in savage bloodletting. Some enjoy killing more than others, but such acts rarely bother them.
