Yeah, those eye bolts are nasty, and a little bit broad of beam. If Jolly wasn't standing square on Peeps head, he would have gotten shot at some more.

So, you may have noticed a few changes to the site. Well a couple of weeks ago I finally had a chance to sit down and do some stuff to help build a better looking page.

Not knowing really how to do much in the way of HTML, LooeyQ of Mad Dog fame, after a successful stint at SuperCon in Florida, has take time out of his own crazy schedule to come in and spruce the place up for me.

I drew up new banners, backgrounds, some buttons, and a page layout idea, and he is working on mixing them all together to help me get a fancy looking site!

How awesome is that? VERY awesome!

"SPLAAATCH!" indeed!

This was a toss up between Splorch, Splat, and HEY! I sort of jumbled them up and it came out as Splaaatch!

I would have totally fallen for his hugging out rouse, I couldnt pass up getting a hug from a big guy that huggable!

I can tell you it was (for a quick second) kinda tempting, but Peeps sort of smells like milk gone bad, and that's a deal breaker!

I noticed the new buttons and banner right away, looking good so far too! Also getting a hammer to the eyeball is a good way to ruin your day

Thanks, our man LooeyQ is tweaking things as we go. I'm liking it so far too!

I like the new banner, I always thought the old slogan didn't quite fit.
"Be careful what you wish for"? Unless Jolly later finds a Literal Genie's bottle, I don't recognise that theme in the comic.

Yeah, it was a little clunky. At first it had to do with coming home to find you have no place there, but as the comic story progressed, it became more about what was going on in the first couple of chapters.

The bad guys wanted power and immortality. They ended up being destroyed by power, and trapped in a cave in an eternal state of unlife.

That's right, but given that the focus is on Jolly, I don't feel like it defines the story, at least not so far.

Mmm, to me it was the focus of the second chapter.

Old enemy returns, gives an accounting of what happens when he reached for something he didn't grasp the consequences of.

But yeah, it wasn't the best theme, but it was what I was trying for.
