Well, that's one way to get to the bottom of things.

Anyone remember these two from way back in chapter one? Stonearm and Jollys best friend, Nok. Well, here they are for one last (?) appearance.

At least these spirits are friendly, not that its making a difference in the damage Jolly keeps taking...

And if you're browsing around any of the comic sites he is on, give the dwarf a friendly vote =)

Yaaay! I actually missed seeing those two!
I guess things are just downhill from here for a while, eh?

Downhill right to rock bottom in fact.

Stonearm, Nok, and Jolly have quite a history, nothing short of death (or alternate reality) could separate them. And it looks like even then, you cant keep them apart!

How long they can stay together this time? We will find out shortly.

There is a little story here in fact.

Jolly found out just how high you could bounce a dwarf in EverQuest.

All you need is a Dwarf, a bumpy zone, auto-follow, and a Bard using full on Bard-Speed.

Orila (the bard) would race through the zone wall, with Jolly in tow until either -

a) He lost me, and had to go back.

b) Jolly took enough damage to be on the brink of death from all the bouncing... in which case Orila would turn around and come back to twist in a healing song.

yeah...with friends like that, I had no fear left in me for the actual mobs in the game.

In my defense, I never actually killed you with "Bounce the Dorf". The game was, Get as close as possible. And I got pretty close
Draginbeard 19th Oct 2013, 9:40 PM edit delete reply
No, never died. Came close (which I found out later was the challenge) though.

Jolly painfully met boulders, trees, and random other environmental hazards, at full speed.

It was George of the Jungle meets The Fast and the Furious.

With friends like these...
I'm interested to see how this all plays out, can't hurt to have 2 more on your side, spirits or not.
Draginbeard 14th Oct 2013, 1:57 PM edit delete reply
Yeah, Jolly needs all the help he can get. Just not all the bruises, and broken bones that comes with said help...

Testing the gravity of the situation...

Oh yes, and this little trip nearly put a Jolly-shaped hole in the ground!

Who needs enemies when you've got friends who'll push you off a cliff! Great work!
Draginbeard 14th Oct 2013, 11:20 PM edit delete reply
These are the kinds of friends you want to keep your receipts of, in case you need to exchange them for some less dangerous ones, like say a raging gorilla!
TAOMark 16th Oct 2013, 7:22 AM edit delete reply
If love a gorilla.
Draginbeard 16th Oct 2013, 12:12 PM edit delete reply
Its good to love having a gorilla, its a little scary if the gorilla wants to love having you...

Uh oh, I use to have a ghost in my house. It would shake my bed at night just to be a jerk, but id take him over these guys any day!

At least they are proof of an afterlife, so if they do get Jolly kicked out of this life, he knows where to find them, and punch them right in the nose for it!
